First post!
I’m going to start this blog off in a way that I hope sets the appropriate tone for posts to come. With luck, I will be posting new work on a very consistent and frequent basis.
I finished this piece last night. It has no particular intent or purpose, and I am still trying to decipher what it is all about.
Untitled – 5″x8.5″ acrylic, pen and bristol
This piece is made up of two acrylic paintings on bristol with 3 layers of inked bristol on top. The wallpaper was made with a stencil I had drawn and cutout several months ago, but had yet to find a purpose for. Here is a detail to show how it is pieced together.
The stencil was cut from bristol and is the most detailed stencil I have ever cut. Stencil measures only 1″x1″ and took quite a few hours to cut out.

Woah dude, grawesome job.
Is he shouting, or spitting out a chunk of lightning and wraith of zeus.
I’d mount this on my wall.

Thanks! I think you may be right. He could very well be vomiting an explosion, birthed by Zeus himself, of religious proportions.

pretty nice, i like the mixed media, the foreground elements sometimes having less texture than the background
the style the dude is drawn in reminds me somewhat of the drawing style of http://www.plastickid.dk/
(this guy is also the singer of The Fashion if you’ve heard of them)
check it out, it will have you wanting to buy paint markers

Brilliant. You know I love it. And I will have at least 2 prints to show you in the next week where I’ve sacrificed 10′s of 20′s of exacto blades.
