Hello, World!
Wednesday, March 31st, 2010If you live in or around Pittsburgh, are going to be in Pittsburgh or want to visit Pittsburgh this Friday, April 2, come to Most-Wanted Fine Art, 5015 Penn Ave. The opening for the John Lysak and friends printmaking show in the gallery will be at 7 pm. I will be there and so will some things I made!
Also, if you received a printer’s hat or a scrap of paper with terrorkill.com written on it, and are now perusing this tiny spec of the interwebs, send me and email or message me and tell me how cool you are. mdaburch@gmail.com

Bird Boy
Monday, December 21st, 2009This exciting semester has come to a close, so I will be posting all my prints that haven’t been interwebized soon. This print is from the Print Club’s second 24 hour print exchange. For this exchange, each artist received a fortune cookie that contained the title of their print. Here is Bird Boy in a 5 layer silk-screened print. Sorry for the lines. I will try to rescan this later.

Print Club’s THE ULTIMATE SHOW
Tuesday, November 24th, 2009If you were unfortunate enough to miss the Ultimate Show, presented by the Print Club, I feel extremely sorry for you. It was one of the most exciting presentations of work I have seen in Bates Gallery in the last 6 years. Here are some pictures of the roughly 200 prints made by students, faculty and artists who have worked with Egress Press.
The show was curated by the Print Club’s President, Justin George, and was up from Nov. 14-21. I had several pieces in the show for sale, most of which have been seen on this site before. I should have photographs of The Ultimate Show’s Ultimate Hoedown and the very fun and exciting Print Camp soon enough.
