Print Club’s THE ULTIMATE SHOW

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

If you were unfortunate enough to miss the Ultimate Show, presented by the Print Club, I feel extremely sorry for you. It was one of the most exciting presentations of work I have seen in Bates Gallery in the last 6 years. Here are some pictures of the roughly 200 prints made by students, faculty and artists who have worked with Egress Press.

The show was curated by the Print Club’s President, Justin George, and was up from Nov. 14-21. I had several pieces in the show for sale, most of which have been seen on this site before. I should have photographs of The Ultimate Show’s Ultimate Hoedown and the very fun and exciting Print Camp soon enough.

These are photos I took yesterday of an installation sculture in a private residence by Bobby. I sanded an enormous amount of those pieces of wood with a hand sander. This wall took up almost all of the first few weeks I was in Philadelphia. It has been done for about a month, but I am glad to have photographed because now I can forget about it and move on. I love how it turned out, but I have too many memories of woogers.
